I worked as a mechanic for a few years myself, and keep my old chevy on the road year after year. I can't, though, do a front end alignment because that's a ton of equipment I'll never be able to afford. There aren't that many shops left who are willing to work on these monsters-- I was turned away from several places. These guys do, and I'm glad I found them. I am easily impressed by any business that treats me right, and in their office I was greeted with a smile and shown much respect. The problem with my camino was pretty simple (and an inexpensive job), but it I wasn't treated as any less valuable a customer. I met the mechanic who worked on my truck, and he explained to me what he did and offered a status report on my front end. He respected my questions (to which I already knew the answers, I quized him for kicks) and didn't offer me pretentious answers or belittle me in any way. I noticed the owner, Glenn, works in the shop as well as jumping behind the desk, which assures me there's nothing going on that he's not aware of. Sav-Mor opens early, and follows the calander of appointments they keep pretty well, which is a testament to the level of professionality that they perform their work with. They've aligned my truck three times now, and each time was an above average experience. Visiting Sav-Mor wasn't a big thing, I guess. It is rare that so many little things go well, though, and for that I think they should be commended.

I live 50 miles from SavMor Auto Clinc now, but have gone there for service regardless. It's hard to do, but I wish I could go there for every service issue. Everytime I ever needed help on my cars, Glen Mitchell and the guys at SavMor were impecablly honest, and did great work. Sometimes I didn't get charged for little things.

They have a convenient and safe key-drop so you can bring your car in after hours and they call you when they open or get to your car the next morning. When I brought my car in it was a lost cause and they explained why, and then didn't charge me anything more than part of the diagnostic- since they only had to glance they said they didn't need to charge me the full price. They were very helpful, and even comforted me when I was upset about my car being dead! My friends still come back even though they moved to other cities- I trust them completely!
