I hired Mobile Mechanics to do a pre-purchase inspection on a 1969 Buick I was considering buying. The mechanic showed up right on time ( I had problems with a mobile repair mechanic I used in another state showing up late or not at all, so I was very relieved and pleasantly surprised) and did a very thorough inspection of the car for me. He arranged to meet me later in the day so we could discuss in person what he had found. He explained the implications of what he had found, gave best and worst case scenarios for issues and potential issues he found with the car, and put everything in writing. The time he spent explaining his findings to me must have been at least equal to the time he spent checking the car itself, but he only charged me for the time he spent on the car. He charge was very reasonable. He is worth his weight in gold, and I would recommend him to anyone.

So as to avoid a 700 mile round trip I called them and asked them to go evaluate a truck I was thinking about purchasing. Asked them when they could do it. They did it the next day and got back to me immediately by phone. Gave me a run down of vehicle and told me that if they were in the market for such a vehicle they would purchase this one. The next day I get an Email with the comprehensive list of items they checked for me. I decided to purchase the truck based on their recommendation. I used to work in the city where they operate and called a few people I still know up that way. They have an excellent reputation in the community. It is a father and son operation so they are comfortable evaluating the older simpler non-fuel injected and computerized cars as well as the latest models. I highly recomend them and will tell my friends about them. If I live long enough to ever buy another truck I will use them again. (I am old, have been ridden hard, and put away wet more than once.)
