About the best place I've found for alignments and front
end work.

Bensons Wheel Alignment - The name says it all. I wouldn't call them about a new timing belt (call Hunt's Foreign Automotive) but they do good alignment/suspension work. 281-332-4824 --Here's the phone number.

I once took my car there for a second opinion after another shop told me that I needed extensive repair work on the brakes and front suspension. I did not need nearly any of the work done that the first shop recommended(even a year later). Their prices are very reasonable, and they won't do work that's not needed. I would recommend that you call ahead for an appointment.

Very busy shop, for obvious reasons. Need an
appointment. We've used them for at least 15 years on
several different vehicles. Never a problem!

They are completely trustworthy. A dealer said I needed
about $500 worth of repairs when I took my car in for
warranty work. At Benson's it was explained very clearly
that absolutely none of the work was needed. For ANY repair,
I take our 2 cars to them first.

I've been using Benson's since 1982. The shop started in
Seabrook in the late 40's by Mr. Benson who fixed marine
engines. He moved on to fixing cars at about the time NASA
was built. He's passed on now to the big mechanic's shop in
the sky. His son and a partner now run the place. When I
first went to them they only did front end work, but now do
general mechanical auto repair. I've taken an '82 Chvey
Blazer to them for 15 years and now take a '97 for to them
for the last 11 years. I hope to get a few more years out of
the Ford. Benson's does good work at a reasonable price and
are honest.

I've been taken my cars to Benson's since 1982. They are
owned and operated by the second generation now. They
started out in the late 1940s in Seabrook fixing marine
engines. They've been working on cars since NASA moved to
town in the early '60s. They only did wheel alignments and
sold tires in the 80's. They now do all mechanical work
except for transmissions. They have taken care of my '82
Chevy Blazer for 15 years until it was sold. They now take
care of my '97 Ford Explorer since it was new. They are
honest, hard working and reasonably priced.
