As a "dangerously knowledgeable", shade tree mechanic, I asked Johnnie at D&M to "go ahead and replace the timing belt" on my 1995 Sable when I had him repair a blown head gasket. I pictured the issue of broken belt leading to a runaway valve train crashing into pistons and the destruction of my wife's car. He said he'd be happy to do the work, but no need... since that Sable V-6 has no such situation to be dealt with. The D&M Service Ctr repair price was not cheap, but it was exactly what he estimated ... even a couple of bucks less! Each time I've had him work on my old Sable, the result has been the same: "Reliable repairs, delivered on time and under budget."

Fantastic shop. Long-time customer. Only shop I have ever
let work on my 1998 GMC pick-up (now at 235,000 miles) or
2003 Impala (now at 147,000 miles). Only open weekdays, but
work late if they have too.
