A great family-run shop. Hands down the best foreign car shop in San Antonio. You will not find a more honest shop. They will even tell you if work does not really need to be done, or if you can wait a bit longer before doing the work. Takes all the stress out of auto repair. It's like having a mechanic in the family! I've been going here for years and have recommended the shop to dozens of people. They've been at this same convenient location right off the freeway for a very long time. You can certainly find a cheaper shop -- but you won't have the peace of mind of knowing that the work is being done right with top quality parts the first time around.

I am truly crazy about this place. I've owned older Toyotas and for the last 6 years or so have brought my vehicles in to this garage several times for maintenance and repair. This is not the cheapest place but it is one of the most honest and most customer friendly ones I've ever encountered. Mr. Yang, the owner, and Mr. Eddie Pena, the primary mechanic, have always been friendly and have always taken the time to explain my car's condition in copious detail. Both have also in the past recommended work on my car that is not critical and which can wait. I recommend this garage with great fervence.

I've seen and passed by this place for years. Never had a chance to stop in and use their services though. FINALLY my brothers yellow (I know, the colour makes ALL the difference in how it runs) '81 toyota celica need work. They said it needed to have the head replaced. Being the skeptic I am, I went and looked at it. Amazing. Like a bunch of little elves went in and totally dissected the head from the rest of the engine. If you know of the vacuum engine control systems of 80s model cars (and especially toyota) you'll appreciate how difficult this is. And sure enough, he was right. (Note: people in San Antonio, NEVER put tap water in your car, distilled only.) Hard water formed calcium deposits on the head and caused it to literally disintegrate. Ok, enough small background. Except to say that he doesn't touch american cars, which made me cry since I had a mustang at the time. Go forward a few years and I need a clutch on my 240 Nissan. Guy put one in and had to take it back a few times to get it adjusted right. No problems/hassles/extra charges for this. He stayed late so I could pick it up when done and he was located around the corner from the public bus park-n-ride. Like the guy and will go back when the car needs help beyond my control

I think the best testament I can give is that I live by SeaWorld and I happily drive my cars all the Way to 35N to get serviced. Mr. Yang, Eddie and the rest of the crew have been working on my various Hondas the last 12 years. They are competent, fair and willing to answer any questions you might have. The shop is awesome!

I have been bringing my vehicles here for about eight years and the service has always been top notch, although not cheap, they have done through work at reasonable prices with great customer service! Do not bring your car, it will only make my wait longer.

I've had four Hondas and one Lexus in this shop for repairs over the past 10 years, and Mr. Yang is always honest, listens to feedback and concerns and makes recommendations based on that. What the shop lacks in aesthetics, it's more than made up for in timely, accurate repairs to my vehicles. Sure, it's a bit expensive - but that holds true for most car repairs - if it's service and correct repairs done for your older cars, Yang's is tough to beat.
