They always seem to analyze the problem correctly and fix it properly at a reasonable cost. The service manager seems to remember everyone's name even after the first time there.

We started using Pan Am in 2001 when we had a 1997 Ford Windstar and a 1996 Ford Explorer. We obviously were very satisfied since we continue to return for ALL auto problems, as well as routine maintenance such as oil changes. We have even recommended them to others, including our daughter who found them to be much better than the Lexus dealers in the area. We no longer live nearby, but still return to use their service in 2008.

• Kudos to Jay Estrada and the team at Pan Am Automotive. In these difficult economic times we are all trying to do more with less. With high unemployment and rising everyday costs many of us are trying to eke out a few more miles from our vehicles. Many of us cannot afford another payment to make each month on a new car and we have to do what we have to do to get a few more miles out of our current vehicles to commute to work. Unfortunately vehicles start to break down after a time and we can’t afford to have costly repairs without taking out a loan or adding to our existing mountain of credit card debt. All we need is someone who understands our situation and is able to fix our vehicles so that we can get by another day, someone who is honest, knows his business and stands behind his work. I have had the good fortune of finding one of those unique breed of automotive men in Jay and his team at Pan Am automotive on Stahl Rd in San Antonio. Jay is honest, trust worthy and stands behind his work 100%. I have had all my vehicles repaired at his shop going back as far as 2002 and I highly recommend him and have recommended him to anyone who needs to have their vehicle repaired in a timely fashion and get the job done. Many thanks to Jay and his crew at Pan Am Automotive Don T

Saw the positive reviews on Car Talk, and decided to give Jay’s shop a try. I took in a 1997 Chevy PU that I drive infrequently for yard work around the house. They replaced a module on the wiper unit, replaced two battery cables, and the serpentine belt. I feared the wiper motor was bad, but they confirmed it was the module. After this work at a reasonable price, Jay called and said the truck till hesitated so I agreed for them to keep it another day. They checked the fuel pump, which was fine, and found the spark plugs were not fully burning the fuel. They suggested a tune-up (the truck had not had one is some time), and I agreed. Problem solved! When I picked it up, it ran like a top. I was satisfied with their prices, particularly after one shop in town seemed pretty expensive and included an “entire USA” warranty on their work.

I recently went to Pan AM Automotive and met Jay.I needed a compressor for my A/C installed and filled. He had everything done within 3 hours and the A/C worked Great! I was expecting a large bill but the entire job only cost me well under $200.00! Wow. I will 100% be going back to Jay for future work.
