I had my 2 1989 Acura Legends serviced here for 7 years (warranty work and normal maintenance) and never had a problem. I also had them check out a used honda prelude before I purchased it and they did a good job of advising me of the car's condition. All service writers are very knowledgeable.

Not the cheapest in town but it amazes me that this 90 Integra with 197k can run like a sewing machine every time I get it out. They do want to fix every tiny detail, but that's not a fault. If you want a spectacular car, find a $5000 Acura and take it to McDavid and give them a budget of another $2000. They can make it perfect - they are that good. I flirted with an independent. He saved me $10 an hour, took a week to fix something minor, didn't have a loaner, and let my stereo get stolen. I flirted with trying to fix it myself. That involved a lot of cussing and caused an eventual breakdown (Mechanical, not quite mental).

The affiliated body shop took care of my 1995 Integra when
it was the ham in a pickup sandwich. At that time, the car
was about 1.5 feet shorter than it was supposed to be, and
the people fixed it right. It did take about 4 months, but
it was fixed. The actual shop has replaced the B-tube
(rattling per a TSB), and many other repairs including a
major brake job (it was just a master cylinder replacement
but I didn't have the facility to bleed the brakes at that
time), replace the timing belt (same issue, different time),
and many other things. They are willing to explain what they
will do, and the process, thereby letting me decide that I
really don't know how to do that. I hate to take a 10 year
old car with 130K+ miles to a dealer, but these people are
very competent.
