They have done about 5 repairs for me from 1997 to the present (Feb 2000). They have diagnosed and repaired problems correctly for me, but they were expensive. They seem honest. They are always busy. I started taking my car to them after they talked a friend out of non-essential, preventative maintenance. They quoted higher prices, but my friend was pleased with their work and their recommendation (unlike others) to do only what was needed.

I've had several cars repaired at Cillis, and they are honest, trustworthy and meet committed deadlines. If they screw something up they make it right for you. Highly recommended!!!

They fixed my clunker and recommended the correct fix the first time. I expected a bill several times higher and they got me going right away with a focused reasonable approach.

Cillis seems to gave a good reputation in the area, but previous comments about beig expensive are right on the mark. However, I consider the only real repair we had done there as an expensive failure. They replaced the power steering pump on our '91 Lumina, took a few hundred dollars and sent us home. Within a week or so, the high pressure power steering line exploded and we were out a few hundred more dollars. One could argue, as they did, that the two are completely unrelated. I argue that they should have spotted a questionable high pressure line while doing the first repair and saved us lots of labor. We're not going back. Of course, we're not going to court, either.

They have worked on my vehicles for 30 years. Have always been accommodating and worked within budget or any other limitations. They are two Italian brothers with a southern accent! That is fun. Their shop has 10 other mechanics who are all certified and go back for updates yearly. I drove 35k a year for work . They kept them going as long as 350,000K when I so desired..Just good honest.

This shop was recommended by multiple people I know is what makes matters worse. They received my truck due to someone hitting me. This left a good sized dent on the bed of my truck. They were supposed to fix the dent, replace my rear bumper and tail light and so on. Well they said it could take 2 weeks at first. A month from drop off and no word. I had called multiple times to try and resolve but they just were not finished. So finally after a month I decided to go get it anyway. They told me the truck would be completed by 6pm the day I was going to get it. I arrived at 5 as they were just about to paint it. This never happened as I took it with me. The dent was not properly fixed and still has many wrinkles in it. They never ordered the back bumper to replace my dented one with. They replaced my tail light with the wrong one and it wont even screw on. So all this for over a months wait. AND it gets worse. On Saturday I got to see my truck in the daylight. When I dropped it off it had almost half a tank of fuel. I picked it up and it was running on fumes. So they drove it... for no reason as there were no mechanical issues with it. Then to make that worse they not only drove it but they apparently pulled a trailer with it and decided to paint that trailer while it was on my truck... sad considering they left over spray from the black trailer paint on my white truck on the bumper, liscense pate, and tail gate.. Wow very very disappointed. Trying to get a hold of the proper people is impossible at this place and dont even try to resolve anything with the owner as he knows nothing... Very bad experience. I will be going back today to try to get whats left of the insurance money so that I can take my truck and have it fixed at a good body shop. ******Update******* Well they have refused to take responsibility for their problems. I have tried to come to a resolution today but it has ended multiple times with the owner (the new owner) cussing at me and hanging up on me. WOW. I'm a pretty calm nice christian guy. Kinda crazy that the owner is so uneducated that his only resolution is "wait until I can talk to the manager and I'm not doing anything without first speaking to James" (another unreachable ghost) followed by tons of profanity. They also tried to lie to my insurance company and tell them I never paid my deductible. Good thing for me I kept text records of our conversations (which were mostly through text) and also have witnesses that heard them say they waived my deductible because of all the waiting and poor service and such. I feel bad for these people. How can they make it with such a worthless leader? They probably won't. I have filed with my insurance companies fraud department (as the invoice they gave to my insurance company in no way matches the one presented to me and is full of parts that were never replaced and lol never damaged to begin with. DO NOT GO HERE unless you enjoy headaches and payiong for rental cars for months. I have also filed with the tdi (Texas Department of Insurance fraud department), I have filed with the attorney general, and as soon as I leave work I will be filing a lawsuit. More updates to come. ****UPDATE 2**** was just phoned by the body shop foreman after being told yesterday that they would actually finish repair on my truck, and got cussed out some more. Was told that i'm of no integrity (again I saved these guys hundreds by not renting cars and I waited over a month for work that 6 other shops told me should have only taken a week) so I will be taking legal action now. Again, tired of being cussed at by the owner (Kevin) and James Lynch (awful employee, awful customer service skills, and a liar) so again DO NOT USE THIS PLACE... I'm not the only one with problems here and apparently they like to remove and make false reviews on themselves so that people think they are good.. I never really review anyone and the ones I do are usually good so this is quite bad.
