Danny's been working on VW's for over 30 years and has definitely seen it all. Since I've been in Lubbock (5 years), he has been my mechanic and I have always been impressed with his work. He ONLY works on the classic style VW's. He's honest and forthright with information and is the first and only mechanic that I trust enough to say "I need you to fix 'X', and go ahead and fix anything else that you come across." and know that he's not going to screw me. He'll work with you on prices and on pretty much anything else you can come up with. We discussed this before any work occurred but one time when I was low on cash and needed some work done, we managed to work out a great trade. He replaced a couple valve springs on my Bug and in return I gave him a handle of Raynal Brandy a buddy had given me. Danny's a great guy, you won't be disappointed.
