Very honest. Made up for a problem that re-occured after I had driven out of town. Transported it all the way back for me. Cost them a bundle, but they did what was right with no tears. Always curteous and polite, too.

I used to have a really good and reasonable mechanic, a Viet Nam veteran, who got tired of city life and moved to a cabin in the mountains out west. I had a a very old Chevy with a bad transmission from the first year. I now have a 1991 Toyota which is a great car but needs work from time to time. This shop was recommended by a friend's son and daughter and I have been pleased with their work, but don't know if the price of repairs is reasonable although it is definitely cheaper than the dealer. They drive me home and bring the car back to me which is nice. The owner is a very nice Greek.

Totally and utterly honest. I highly recommend them. Their waiting room greeter is cute and extremely friendly (a pekinese named Joe).

Theo was among my first Houston fcontacts after moving here about 16 years ago. J&T Automotive was just opening up, and he was enthused about starting his own business. J&T has taken care of 4 vehicles for me, including a corporate car and 27-year old Chevy van. They have been 100% honest. Theo was always investing in the business, from landscaping to the waiting room, it all improved from year to year. I was impressed to know that they spend the last hour of each day cleaning the shop. I'm sad to report that Theo died in 2005. I feel, though, that he set such high standards that this family-run business will carry on in fine form.

I was always driving by J & T Automotive, and they had always a parking lot full of cars. So, I tried them, and now I know why. I told Zack what my problem was. He called me and first made sure I understood what I charged for. My car was ready and washed the same day I brought it in. They shuttle me to work and back. I was very satisfied, and I recommend them.

Let's face it, getting repairs to your car means you are going to be forking out money you would rather not do. So when a repair shop goes out of its way to explain what the problem was and what you can do to avoid it next time, and they treat you with great respect, then at least you don't feel so bad. These guys at J & T Automotive are the best. They do a good job. Zack treats everyone like family, and they do those little things now and again without charge that makes you feel special. Even my wife does not feel intimidated to go in and get something done.
