David is incredible! An honest mechanic, believe it or not. Once charged me 15 minutes of labor and $1.67 for a valve on my air conditioning (when friends were projecting the compressor and thousands of dollars). He's never kept a car longer than a day -- schedules the work ahead of time and actually gets it done! His wife runs the office and can diagnose problems as well as he can.

I've been taking my vehicles to David since 1993. Vehicles include an 89 Mazda 323, 89 Daihatsu Charade, 89 Nissan Sentra, 88 Acura Integra and most recently a 98 Mazda Millenia. He has always been honest (which is highly unusual these days). Unfortunately, he has become so popular that we now have to schedule appointments about a week in advance, but I still would recommend him highly.

David has been my mechanic since I got my first car in 1986! He is honest and thorough. His business is focused on foreign car repair, so the last time I was shopping for a (used) car, I leaned strongly for a foreign model for 2 reasons -- Japanese reliability AND the fact that I'd get to keep my trusted mechanic!!

David has always done good work on the two Hondas and a Misubishi he has worked on for me. Usually costs a bit less than the estimate. Never has performed un-necessary repairs. He advised against some work I was considering having done after he looked at the car. He helped me with some questions I had when I was doing self repair also.
