In June, 2006 I was involved in a collision in Dunmas, Texas while I was on my way to Denver Colorado to see my daughter. My left front fender was bent inward towards my left front tire. The car was only somewhat drivable. The owner understood my time problem and stopped work on another vehicle to correct the problem. He even pulled an employee off another job to work on my Chevy Blazer. Repairs were completed in less than thirty minutes. Expecting to pay apremium for the priority and disruption of his previously scheduled work, I gritted my teeth and asked, "How Much do I owe you?" His response was, "Twenty dollars." I have the receipt to prove the amount. Two months later no problems. This is a good person.

Driving through Texas over the Thanksgiving holiday, we accidentally ran into a deer, which damaged our Explorer beyond drivable. Not knowing any auto body repair facilities in the area, we took the advice of the tow truck driver and let Dickey's do the repair work. Folks, DO NOT use this body shop. Less than a year after they completed the repairs, the paint started peeling off of the hood. We found out there was no primer used prior to painting. The replacement parts they used were sub-standard, and the vehicle was not put back together correctly. I have spent over $3000 fixing Dickey's fixes. Air conditioner was not reassembled correctly and was missing parts, chrome grill parts are cracking and peeling in addition to the paint issues. To add insult to injury, when we picked up the vehicle, the man told us his computer was down and he would have to mail us the detailed repair bill. Of course we've never received it. These guys completely took advantage of an out of state client they had over a barrel.NCT

I wont go anywhere else! I have used Dickey's Body Shop in Dumas, Texas two times. Once to repair hail damage to my car, and just recently to repair major front-end damage to the same vehicle. Repairs were quick, the hail damage repair took some painting and STILL looks great. The front end damage was repaired 100% within a week. The guys at Dickey's Body Shop know what they're doing. I would recommend them for body repair in Dumas tx hands down.

My cousin was in an accident six months ago, he found what seemed to be a great body shop from what he was told. Little did he know it was going to be a long journey, one that appeared to be good? However that was not the case, all was well at first he was told great things about experience, quality, and attention to detail. All seemed great until he was back home waiting, and waiting, and waiting. When he called to check on the progress it was all duck and dive. Never was it there inadequacy in the auto body world. It was always someone else, this or that routine every single time for six months. Finally the vehicle was repaired so they said. It was picked up and in no way was it any representation of what he was told about the quality of work offered. One of the worst stories of customer service I have heard let alone the shoddy work that was done. If you are ever in need of repairs please save yourself the same trouble and avoid Dickey's Body Shop at all cost. The promises are not worth a dime if they are not fulfilled.
