I've called these guys MY Mechanics for a couple years and through a couple cars now. From a cheap hyudai to a Lincoln Continental, they've been very competent and accomadating. When I first went to them I was exasperated by the recurring screw-ups of a national chain and went to these guys to refix the car the right way. The owner said he'd fix it only after I went back to the guys at the big chain and made them take responsibility for their mistakes. When Pro Muffler has worked on it, they would take me to my job and pick me up at the end of the day. They'd call and check with me if they found other problems, arranged to get the work done in one day, or at least so I could drive it back home, and when they were done the car was really better. One time they did put in a Catalyitic converter that was faulty and went bad within a month. When I called they said it was pretty unlikely the converter was bad but bring it in and they'd check it. They replaced it for free and I haven't had any trouble since. I have also gone to other shops when they would have a special or something, and been told a bunch of crap about my electronics or air conditioning, and when I took it back to Pro they gave me the real story, with options and recomendations that were much cheaper. These guys may not be the cheapest mechanics in town, but they aren't out of line either, and for their honesty and competency, I feel very comfortable recommending them to friends. p.s. I marked my relationship as an unbiased customer, but after 3 or 4 years of pretty good service, I am a bit biased after all.

The first time I took my car in was for a new muffler. My car is older, and the muffler seemed to be making some noise. They called me after checking it, saying my muffler was, in fact, just fine, and the bit of noise was to be expected from an older car. No charge. I was hooked. My only concern now is that I had my radiator replaced a couple months ago (it was cracked). The price was reasonable and the leak was fixed, then 2 weeks ago I noticed more coolant under the hood. I took it in, and they called back saying I needed a new radiator cap and hose, only $15 each, BUT they expected me to pay for labor. I don't understand why the new radiator didn't come with a new cap (seriously!) and why they didn't think the hose should have been replaced the first first and only concern with this place, but because of my history with them, I will be giving them another chance.

I have a Chevy pickup that had poor brakes and I was hesitant to take back to the local Chevy dealer as I have had poor experience with them on several occasioins. I did a search and found this garage's website and it sounded like they could help me so I gave them a try. I am exceptionally pleased with the work they did, as now my brakes are like new again. Turns out that the ABS needed bleeding that could only be done with a scan tool. They went to the trouble to check the hydraulic pressure at each wheel, checked the brake pedal travel both before and after, and had me drive it before paying to be sure that I was satisfied. After that I was elated at the very reasonable amount that was chargeed for this service. I am confident that the dealer would have charged me two or three times as much. Jamie also took the time to explain what was done and what more could be done if I wanted to improve the braking system even more. I feel that I have found a knowledgable and honest mechanic. I do most of my own work on my truck but I won't hesitate to go back to this garage for any other service I need help with. I would definitely recommend this shop to my friends.
