Andy at the Austin V Shop goes completely out of his way when it comes to customer service. He has personally driven me to work when I dropped off my car and didn't have a ride. (I know he offers rentals in some cases where the repair will take days.) He works with extended warranties and has the latest Volvo software to diagnose 'check engine' problems. He arranged a rental car through my extended warranty for me over a busy weekend. That was the one and only time I ever had to leave my car overnight. Finally, when I moved to Orlando and had a problem he found a local shop that would take care of me. Andrew Seibel's Austin V Shop is simply the best Volvo repair shop in Austin.

Andy and Mike are by far the best Volvo mechanics in town (believe me, I've been to nearly *all* of them)! Don't waste your time with other local repair shops that either: 1. Don't have a clue about Volvos; or 2. Charge out the wazoo for stuff you don't really need or don't really fix the problem the first time. I almost had given up on my car before going to Andy and Mike. They gave me a fair deal and actually fixed the car the first time! The Volvo is not the cheapest car to own but it's long-term performance will surely benefit from V- Shop TLC and expertise!

I've driven in several times just to get their opinion about a possible repair. They have jacked the car up, looked at it, and even when I told them I thought I needed a particular repair, they insured me that I didn't. MOST shops would have done the repair anyway. I even waited for an hour or so while they replaced a motor mount at a reasonable price, and I didn't even have a previous appointment. I'll be using them for all my Volvo work.
