After living in and around Chicago we had really honed our
negotiating/discerning skills when it came to car
mechanics. Knowing that the dealerships have intense
markups we knew we had to find a local shop we could
trust. We didn't have to go far. The Warr and Guerin
group are the most competent and honest mechanics we have
ever had the pleasure to work with. And for once my
husband doesn't have to go in and strong arm anybody
because they treat me, a woman, fairly. Who knew car
repair could have integrity?! I like them so much I feel
guilty being cynical. I would not hesitate a bit to

We have been taking our cars there ever since we moved here 22 years ago - picking them totally randomly orginally - starting with the previous owner and continuing with Jeff. They are totally honest and their work is good. I have recommended them to many people. I trust them so much that we actually take our cars in to them before a trip to be checked and just tell them that if something needs fixing to just go ahead and fix it - but they still call us anyway to get our okay. The few times when something wasn't quite right after we got a car back they took it back in and made it right with no questions. They go out of their way to accomodate the customer, make room to squeeze you in in an emergency, and are up front with you if they can't fit you in rather than taking the car and then not being able to get to it.
