I've lived in Spain for the last four years, but before that used Brad for my Volvo repairs from 1989. He's the best, and has worked on four different Volvo's of mine over the years. I bought a 1998 at the factory while I've been over here and am sure that I'll have Import and Vintage work on the car when I get back to Charleston next year.

I have been taking my 2001 Saab 9-3 Viggen to them since I bought it in 2007. I love that I can give them a list of the little things I know need to be done and they take care of it, plus they do a thorough job finding the other stuff I don't know about. They replace bulbs, change filters, fill fluids, clean drains and do other small things that I don't think about, but they know are important. They are very good about assessing the severity of a problem. If it's critical they will tell you, if you can ignore it or treat it minimally they will present that option, too.

Took Saab in twice - both times we had to return car to repair things they said were repaired - very frustrating & VERY COSTLY. Do they not check the car after it has been repaired to see if it is running correctly - test drive ???????? Go somewhere else and save your time & money.

I recently took my 2007 Saab 9-3 for low beam bulb replacement, window pinch control adjustment and to check out why the engine light goes on and off. The first two items were taken care of within an hour. The 3rd issue, although the engine light was not on at the time, was diagnosed having 2 possible issues. Either fix would be an expensive repair. They suggested bringing the car back when the light comes on so that can pin point the specific code. Makes good sense to me. Bottom line, I was very pleased with Brad's (Owner and Mechanic) as well as Teri's (Office Manager) knowledge of my car. They presented a high level of professionalism. The cost for repairs were right on the mark. I highly recommend this company to others. 5 Stars by me. Duane Stauter Edisto Beach, SC

I am so thankful that Import & Vintage took the time to service my GMC Canyon, even though they generally do not work on this type of vehicle. They were able to wiggle my vehicle into their busy holiday schedule for an oil change/wellness check. Their prices are more than fair and I never felt pressured to approve a recommended repair. The people of Import & Vintage are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and most importantly - respectful of a female who is pretty clueless about cars (aka me).

I cannot stress enough how dissatisfied and disgusted I am with the service I received from Import & Vintage Repairs as well as from the owner, Brad, himself. I came here because firstly, it was referred to me by another shop that I have trusted/had great service from and secondly, because this shop claimed to have mechanics who specialized in fixing Volvo's like mine. I brought in my 2004 Volvo for a repair that should have been easily fixed the first time, but instead took five visits and almost a thousand dollars in labor and parts to "fix". It was instead returned to me multiple times with acceleration issues and leaking puddles of gasoline. All in all my car was in worse shape after each time bringing it in to them due to their negligence in putting the new parts in correctly and not thoroughly checking what work was done or even needed to be done. My car had to be towed back to them twice, at my expense, as they continued to re-fix things that should have been done right the first time. I was left stranded on the highway multiple times and given a car leaking hazardous amounts of fuel, with NO compensation or apology. I will NEVER go back to this shop and will discourage others from doing so as well. I was put through enormous stress and major safety concerns, having to drive a car in worse condition than what I came to them with for almost a month now. Brad the owner is not to be trusted and would not give me back even a dime of what I paid them for the trouble and stress they have put me through. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP if you have another option, this establishment is incompetent and unprofessional in every sense.
