I have much more confidence in them than the local BMW dealer. For example, the dealer told me it would be $2,300.00 to repair my air conditioner. Brown Motor Works recharged the system for about $100 and it's still going strong - two years later! They have done all my maintence work since then and I've found them to be quite capable, competent and trustworthy.

I paid an initial payment of over 2,600.00 dollars to this repair shop to replace an engine in a BMW Z3. They gave me the specs of the motor that was supposed to be replacing the current one. I agreed to the Specs and they went on with the job. Apparently the engine malfunctioned on Friday the 14th of February and they did not call me to tell me so. I called late on Tuesday to see why my car was not ready yet and they told me they should have called me a few days before when it malfunctioned. At this time I told them not to order a new Engine and I wanted a refund because I cant go another few weeks without a car. So I bought I new one. I call them on Thursday and find out that they went ahead and ordered another engine although I told them not to do so. I do not know any specs for this Engine or did I agree to have this engine installed. Now they are refusing to try to send it back for a refund and give me any of my money back although I do not want this engine put in or any work done to my vehicle
Worst Car Repair Shop i ever dealt with.
