The best Saab mechanics this side of Sweden. If Mike can't fix it, then it's time to junk it. Specializes in ALL Saabs- -strokers, turbos, you name it. He will find the parts--if he can't find it, then if never existed. Will work with you on very large jobs (Mike resurrected my 99 turbo and is the only one I trust with my 176,000 mile NextGen 900)Compared to the dealer, Mike is honest (he'll tell you what's up-- even if it's not what you want to hear) and the price is much better than what you get at the dealer. Also, it's never a surprise--Mike is up front with his charges. Great for tweaking jobs, too--will help you get the maximum horsepower out of whatever Saab you drive.

Mike worked as a mechanic for 15 years at Wigwam Saab before deciding to open his own garage. He is the best Saab mechanic in RI and his hourly rate is well below the dealerships. You don't speak to some ignorant salesperson or customer service rep. You speak to Mike directly. He is honest, fair and very competent (he should behe only works on Saabs!). I have never questioned the quality of his work and never felt pressured to have a service done that wasnt necessary. I have a 1999 9-3 Convertible and will only bring it to ConnTech. He has made owning a Saab affordable and a joy to live with.

I found ConnTech by looking through the mechanic's file and am so glad I did. I first took my Saab there in around ~2008 after I received an astronomical quote from a dealer and a few other places for exhaust work and some minor oil leak issues. After taking it to ConnTech they looked it over found I didn't need all the work the dealer claimed and it was going to cost less than half what I had been quoted elsewhere. I ended up having some optional work done as well and the bill was still less than half the other quotes. Ever since then I have brought my Saab to them; they do an excellent job. I've never had to bring it back for rework or had new issues after they fixed something. Best shop I have ever been to.
