In addition to being competitivelt priced, Larry and Ken treat repair problems as if they owned the car - they'll tell you whether they feel a repair is worthwhile, based on the age of the vehicle and your budget. Have stopped in on a Friday afternoon (about 5 min. before close) and have gotten emergency repairs performed (bad grounding strap cauing starting problems). In fact, since the vehicle was recently in for a 30K tune-up, they did not charge to clean the grounding strap and re-install it. Have had tune-ups, brake overhaul and steering rack re- placed on various older cars. Always reasonablely priced, have used name-brand components, and have explained the warranty connected with each repair. Auto Mall usually busy, they work on just about anything with wheels - motorhomes, imports, trucks, vans, cars... . Only negative is that the selection of magazines in waiting room could be improved.

It is so nice to bring the car somewhere where they don't treat you like a moron because you are female. They explain the problem, and they fix it. The price is very fair. Tom even spent quite some time trying to diagnose a problem for me- which we never did end up finding and he never charged me for. Their shop is sort of hard to get in and out of so I bring my car to a shop where I can walk home for routine stuff. But if I ever have a problem or a major repair, I go here.

Wonderful place to keep your old car running. Honda
wanted $400 to replace an oil pan after THEY stripped the
plug and sent me home with a big plug that fell out when
Auto Service Mall touched it. Auto Service Mall replaced
the aluminum stripped plug with a steel one for less than
$80. They told us when it wasn't worth it anymore to keep
our old Nissan running. Honest people. They've given me
rides home if needed.

Tom and Ken are extremely honest and hardworking. They are
very capable at troubleshooting older cars and will work
with you in obtaining and installing used parts if
necessary. They have saved me money several times.

Worked on my Ford Explorer, Honda Accord, BMW 325is, Porsche
911 -- all extremely competent and very fair.

The place looks small from the road, but it will amaze you
when you go inside. Great mechanics, honest and hard-
working. I have five cars, and they all go here for service.
I think their Audi mechanic is more knowledgeable than the
dealer mechanics, and at a far better rate. Some garages
may try to take advantage of female customers, but not
here. My wife bakes them cookies when she takes her car
there, just like Click and Clack recommend. It works. Best
garage I've ever patronized, and I've been doing his for a
long time.

Tom and Ken and Auto Service Mall are excellent diagnosticians
and an honest, hardworking shop. They have gotten me through
two shaky Acuras and a rusting Chevy (and a few other reliable
cars!) with minimal cost. I know I can trust their opinions
and estimates. Wouldn't take my cars anywhere else.
