Absolutely the best mechanic I have had. I took him my Honda
(over 200k miles) when the alternator went and no one could
work on it for a week. Cliff fit me in and I have stayed
with him. He knows cars, not just Saabs, has been very
honest and he only does what needs done.

1. Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm but they are willig to have cusotmers drop a check in their box and pick the cars up after hours 2. Samll 2 man shop meaning that all cars aer either serviced by or inspoected by the owner 3. Myself and my family have had over 5 different cars serviced there regularly with no complaints about the service. The amount of attentions that Saabs require, however is quite a different tale. Even with Saabs being Saabs I credit Cliff Story with the fact that none of our cars have ever failed or left us stranded. The average mileage on our Saab was [probably in the 175,000-180,000 range with at least 2 over 200,000.

Well, I've had my Saab for 2 years and have spent a lot of time at Cliff's shop. I can only blame myself for buying an expensive to maintain car, but Cliff does explain everything and doesn't leave me stranded. At one point, even he thought he was seeing me too much. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit to Cliff's garage. It is only a
review, but I'll submit my review anyway.
Cliff is an amiable, personable mechanic. It was time for my
car to be inspected.
My muffler was shot, and my downstream oxygen sensor was not
working.
I do believe he is an honest person, I'll tell you why. Most
mechanics at inspection time tell you need new brakes, cut
the rotors, etc. It's a quick buck. Cliff told me my brakes
were fine, and went as far as to tell me the thickness as
related to what they should be at max. Impressive. I asked
him to change the oil (I am religious about it) and he told
me that it did not need one, and suggested a time in the
future to change it. Now, with the oxygen sensor. It was
original. Cliff had to re-tap the threads in the boss, and
he showed my my part. It looked like a train wreck. Muffler
was installed car sounds like new, it is a Pontiac Grand Am
with a 150,000 on it. Cleared my trouble codes for me,
explained them, what they were etc.
I would highly recommend Cliff to anybody who is looking for
a reliable, knowledgeable, and honest mechanic. I have no
connection with this gentleman, if the above is what you
need, give him a call. You won't regret it. He's my new
mechanic for certain.
