We took our Subaru in because it was making some noises that not even the dealer had been able to identify. Not only did Tim identify the noises, but he gave us a list of items that needed repairing--that would have cost potentially a couple thousand dollars--but he also told us that the repairs would cost more than what we could get for trading it in for a new car. Talk about honest! Then another time, when we would have been glad to pay him to look at and fix my wife's car (Ford), he recommended another place for us to take it because he admitted that Fords were not his specialty.

Tim is the Subaru Guru! His shop is the best; clean, organized, and well- managed. He has always been cheerful, helpful, and informative. I wouldn't take my Subaru anywhere else. He's not cheap, but he's REALLY good.

I found Tim's Subaru Repair Shop through your Mechanics Files. I thought I'd give his shop a try since the Subaru dealer in my area pulled some shady deals on me. Thanks Subaru dealer. Tim is a true Subaru Guru. His shop is clean and in order. He explains everything and makes a recommendation and with no pressure if the repair can be done at a later date. He doesn't give free car washes or tire rotations. He just repairs your car. If you find a good independent garage, stick with them. I'm glad I found a Subaru Guru.

Tim is a great, trustworthy mechanic. He works fast, is friendly, and he takes the time to explain everything clearly. He doesn't do work that doesn't need to be done. I trust Tim completely with my car, and I recommend him to all Subaru owners!

There are mechanics and there are specialists. Tim is a Subaru specialist. I've owned Subs for 33 years and know their foibles well. Tim has worked on Subs for longer than that and can diagnose a problem by placing his hand on the hood (I exaggerate just a little :) ) Extraordinarily personable, he takes as much time as a customer requires to explain what needs to be done now, what can be put off and whether it will be worth it in the end. His shop is rural, but located in scenic Lancaster County, PA, so look out for buggies!

Tim diagnosed and fixed a small but mysterious problem and gave me a good overview of the car all for the charge of only one hour labor. I am so happy to have found this guy!
