I have found Mr. Baum to be very knowledgeable and helpful in dealing with old Volkswagen beetles. He's very efficient in getting the work done in a timely manner.Prices are reasonable and the work is of a high quality.

Know VWs inside and out. Been working on my VWs for twenty years. Walking past my shop with my dog, they are regularly in there at 9:00 or 10:00 at night.

Doug and Bob have been working on all of the family VWs (that's sixteen different vehicles for 4 of us over the past 20 years). They have absolutely flawlessly provided not only THE BEST service on our vehicles available anywhere, but THE BEST customer service available anywhere. Not enough good can be said about this operation. Truly one of a kind!

Baums has been fixing my family's 1986 VW since we purchased it in 1989 and it is still running 20+ years later thanks to Doug. He will always go out of his way to take care of you. Once, while I was home for break from college, the clip holding my tailpipe up broke on a Sunday afternoon when I had to drive 2 1/2 hrs back to school. I drove over to Baums and Doug was in the shop working. He fixed my tailpipe immediately and sent me back to school without charging me, saying I could pay next time I brought the car in. If I still lived in the area, I would buy a VW solely because I know I would always have a great mechanic to fix it.
