John (the owner) quoted my wife a price for new brakes on her 1998 Honda CR-
V. When she arrived to pick up the car, John actually told her the price was
nearly $100 less than what she was quoted. I've never heard of a mechanic
doing such a thing. He could have easily kept the price at the quoted rate, and
we would still have driven home satisfied.
