John Hauser bought the shop across from the Costal he managed for years and established a great reputation. Shop motto is "Old-Fashioned Service for Today's Customer" and they mean it! I got 1/2 way into a project and stuff started breaking that would have stranded me. Late on a Saturday afternoon, he was willing to have me limp it over, stay later than he should have, bailed me out, and saved the weekend! Above and beyond the call of duty, I'm more than impressed.

John Hauser's Old Fashioned Service is exactly what it says! John originally worked across the street from his shop at what was an exceptional place until the owner decided to retire and sold the place. John disappeared for a while but when he came back across the street those of us who knew him flocked in in a hurry! They are honest, excellent mechanics all of them! And they still call you Mr or Mrs - quite old fashioned. I have referred many people to him and all have been very satisfied. Infact we are a bit sad as we just bought a new car and now we wont see him as often :-)

Just amazing. I wasn't sure if I trusted the reviews here (hey, anyone could register, you just don't know.) But, I took my car in for brake work, they replaced the front brakes and the rotors. Told me to keep an eye on my tires, and my back brakes, and sent me on my way for $200. That seems like a fair price, and the advice on what to keep an eye on is invaluable. A+
