This is a small shop but they seem to be able to handle
whatever we throw at them. Mike (son of Tony) is a great
guy. He's worked on our Hondas and our Chevys equally well
for about 15 years. He's given us good advice towards the
end of a car's life (fix, sell, junk), he fixes what is
wrong and nothing more while keeping tabs on general
maintenance issues and his charges always seem fair.

This is my favorite garage ever. I've had lots of cars in
lots of places, from Illinois to Massachusetts (sorry Tom
and Ray), and Tony's is top notch. My wife's family has
gone there for years (2 daughters and one son, and 15+ years
driving) and all have been treated fairly. And best of all,
if Tony doesn't think he can fix it competently, he tells
you so.
I went in with a VW GTi, not his usual, with a horn short.
He told me what he though it was and how he would chase it
down but said right up front that if if wasn't this one
thing he suspected then he had no idea and I should take it
to the dealer. Then he said that if he was wrong, he
wouldn't charge me for the time because he didn't fix it.
He was right, but he didn't charge me much for it.

I REALLY love this shop. I took my 2002 Mustang GT to him
for loads of aftermarket installs that I couldn't do myself.
He is always there for a quick question about something or a
recommendation over the phone. He saved me literally
thousands of dollars in repairs that other shops quoted me
for - I was told I needed a full fuel system replacement and
Mike (son of Tony) recommended a $4 chemical treatment
applied twice that FIXED EVERYTHING! A++++ shop.

I've been a regular customer of Tony's Garage for 30 years. Mike (son of Tony) is now the owner, and an amazing mechanic like his father was. Since the 1980's, Mike's given me excellent service and advice whenever my car(s) needed repair, when to buy another car (type to buy, what options, how much to spend, etc.), or when to get rid of one. Mike is a great guy and has a sixth sense about cars, quickly and accurately analyzes any problem, fixes what needs to get fixed and nothing more, keeps tabs on general maintenance issues and lets me know about any future issues so I can plan ahead. He even does some light bodywork when needed. Mike treats his regular customers like family. His number one priority is the safety of his customers (Jeff is the other mechanic in the shop and is wonderful as well). Mike's charges always seem very fair and reasonable. Indeed, Mike has been known to do extra things for his regulars at no charge. Mike is by far the best mechanic in the area. Would not think of taking my cars anywhere else, and all the Tony's Garage regulars feel the same way.
