After receiving somewhat questionable input from a different shop, I suggested my friend get a 2nd opinion at Dan Judy. She took her car to Dan Judy, who replaced the real problem for much cheaper, and confirmed her gut feeling... the first shop was dishonest about the problem. I appreciate Dan Judy for their honesty and their wonderful customer service. We highly recommend them!

My wife took her previos pickup and her 1997 Susuki to Dan Judy and was always highly satisfied. After taking my 1998 Geo to my dealer, I found thier prices high and that dealer did not know 1998 Geos. When I took my 1998 Geo to Dan Judy, he knew 1998 Geos and what 1998 Geos really needed in maintence and did not charge for anything that in Don Judy felt 1998 Geos really needed and his prices were always reasonable. Finally my mother took her 1975 Vega stationwagon to Dan Judy after 1997. Dan Judy always did what dan Judy felt was appropreate for that 1975 Vega and always kept his prices for mother to a minimum. If my wife or I needed a ride home and back Dan Judy always saw the we were given rides at no cost. Finally there were several times that Dan Judy helped us and did a repair on one saturday on his own time at no charge to me.

Dan Judy may have had taken lessons from your show, he leans toward sharing his comedic tendencies when the opportunity exists. New customers may need a moment to adjust to his dry sense of humor. They know their business and have a staff do a great job. That goes for John at the front counter too!

I have been going to Dan for more than 20 years. I had a Chrysler with more than 200,000 miles on it. He kept it running great until I no longer needed it. He also works on my other car/truck and I trust him to do the work right. John the service adviser knows a lot about cars also. They both are fun to talk to and keep my cars running very smooth.

They are always honest and courteous. I always dreaded going to a mechanic until I met Dan 20+ years ago. He will tell you everything that needs to be done and the order of importance, if it is critical to the safety of the vehicle or just routine maintenance.

I am a very very disgruntled customer. We took our van in to have some work done, we were quoted $260. By the time we picked up the vehicle we owed the mechanic $800. We were not informed that the price was going up at any time. Some communication would have been greatly appreciated.

I've known Dan for over 40 years. He taught me a lot back when I had my first car. Even though I am a do-it-yourselfer for most things, I still go to him when there is something I don't know how to do or don't have the time to do it. He works on all of my cars and my motorhome. He has always been honest to me, and to other customers when I've overheard the conversations. He will tell you what is wrong, ask some questions, and then give you some options. For example, if it's not a car you're really attached to he may suggest a way to get it running so you can sell it, or if you really like the car, suggest that you put more money into it an know that it will be fixed correctly so you can keep it longer. He replaced the axles on one of my cars and it broke within a week while my wife was driving. She called him up and he sent a tow truck, brought the car to the shop, replaced the axle, and didn't charge us a penny. The axle that broke was defective and he made it right. I had a similar problem with a replacement head once. Within a few miles of the warranty expiring on the replacement heads, one of them cracked. He got on the phone and insisted that the manufacturer replace both heads. They did, and it didn't cost us anything for the work. He also worked on my Mom's car, doing pretty much everything, including changing the oil. He was great with her, taking care of her like she was his own mother. My dad had left some oil when he passed away that was for a different car. She would take it in for the oil change and he would exchange it for the correct oil and not charge extra for it. He has always done quality work, is honest, has integrity, and makes things right if something goes wrong. He's not the cheapest shop in town, but I know that I can trust him to good quality work.
