I love this shop and have confidence in their work, but I have to comment: I had some expensive repairs due -- because of the expense, I got estimates from another shop, which came in at almost half of ReBorn's estimate. My car is older and has 145,000 miles, and the other shop was helpful in advising how to save on some costs considering the age of the car.

Great Guys, been going to them for years. Cliff is the best, but they are all friendly and make you feel like family. My only problem is that they are expensive and it seems there is always more then what you went in for.

My car died on the freeway on a Sunday and I had it towed to Reborn based on the Car Talk review of the shop. The tow truck knew the shop and said it was good and dropped off the keys. The next day Ken called me with the estimate and said it would be ready in one day. He was very friendly and professional. When he called me the next day he said he had made an error in calculating the price and I would have to pay about $400 less than he originally told me. When I went to the shop it was spotless and pleasant. The reception area has hardwood floors, antiques, and a coffee bar. When I paid for the car they asked me if I prefer white or red wine. I said red and they gave me a bottle! I asked if all their customers who have bills over $1000 get wine and they said everyone does! My car runs great and they are keeping track of the things it needs for later.

I have been going to these folks for more years than I can count. I trust them completely. Just recently they decided that some parts I was quoted as part of a job did NOT need to be replaced. At times I think they are expensive (though worth it), but then I see what other places charge for the same work and confirm that I am getting a fair deal.

This place is about as far from my house as anything can be and still be in the same city, but I have tried other closer/cheapr mechanics and have ended up coming back to ReBorn with my tail between my legs asking them to fix what other mechanics didn't get right. I have had cheaper mechanics, but in the long run those mechanics actually cost me more in time and money by having to return (if lucky enough to be able to drive the car) to fix it again. At Reborn, I know it will be right the first time. And they make great efforts to find the problem. My car was shaking violently, but only after driving about 20 miles first. They took the time to recreate the problem so that we would know what we were dealing with rather than guess and have me start paying for parts to "try it out". They are honest and they do great work.
