Mr Kim is a very nice man, honest and quite knowledgable about the Hondas that he work on. He has done a variety of routine maintance on my Civic over the last 2 years. His prices are significantly cheaper than the other places that I have tried in the Portland/Hillsboro area. For once, I don't feel like I'm getting screwed when I deal with a mechanic. Mr. Kim has a couple of loaner cars. They aren't new BMWs by any stretch of the imagination, but he doesn't charge for their use. The shop is in a relatively bad neighborhood and isn't the nicest, cleanest auto repair place in the world, but hey, what we really care about is a skilled, reasonably prices mechanic, not these things. Go see Mr. Kim. You will be happy you did.

I had an '85 and now have a '93 Accord. Mr. Kim has been my mechanic for the past 15 years and has always done excellent work. His prices are very reasonable (MUCH less than dealers), he is honest, and since he works exclusively on Hondas/Acura he knows his stuff inside and out. He is the owner but although he might have a person or two working for him, he still does much of the work himself. You don't need an apointment. You won't be swindled by some guy behind a counter in a white shirt who could care less how you car runs and how it runs after you leave the shop. Mr. and Mrs. Kim will treat you with respect and courtesy and get the job done right and very promptly. He's easily accessible at 75th and S.E. Glisan and he's there promptly at 7:30am each morning. Need I say more.

Mr. Kim has serviced my last 4 Hondas. As a matter of
fact, I bought my last Honda, a 91 Civic from him last
year. I have found him to be knowledgable, friendly,
courteous, and respectful of the customer's needs. His
work is excellent and he, as well as his mechanic complete
the job in a timely manner. If the repair is going to take
awhile, he has plenty of loaners available at no charge. I
have recommended his shop to all my friends who own
Japanese cars. Now that he has started to include domestic
and European models, I will recommend Mr. Kim to owners of
those as well.

This guy is great. My first experience with him was when I
had to have him "fix" another local mechanic's botched job
on a headgasket/timing belt repair. He was very honest and
sympathetic that I had gotten cheated by the other shop. I
have done all my repairs with him since then. He always
fixes it the first time and fixes it right, and he is
actually cheaper than a lot of other shops. Ive never had
to wait more than a day or two to get service, and he is
always there for you to just drop by.
A+ mechanic, I highly recommend him.

My 2000 Accord had the exhaust system rust out. The first
estimate was $1550, and the mechanic wasn't helpful. Mr.
Kim did it for $900, went the extra mile for me, and kept it
at his estimate.

Kim (the owner)is Japanese and very passionate about what
he does. He is very honest and helpful. He works with
your budget to help you prioritize your car care. I have
had 2 Hondas, both were bought brand new. Kim took care of
both. My first one, I drove for 14 years and sold for high blue
book, and my second, I am still driving. It is 18 years old
and has 234K miles!
Kim can be kinda bossy, or "fatherly" when he scolds about
preventative care. But he is well intentioned, remember what
I said about being passionate!
