This is a superb operation wherein the extremely competent mechanics will service or fix the problem without getting the car dirty (both under the hood and otherwise). They advise you on service items but never have you replace things that do not need it. The only thing that they are unable to do is warranty work -- which must be done at a local dealer.

Warm greetings from the house pets (two now) make customers feel a part of the family. Courteous, competent, and always timely work while I wait. I feel fortunate to have had 4 star recommended to me.

i would not take my honda to any other repair facility in tulsa. these guys are the best..

The owner, Earl (an appropriate mechanic's moniker <grin>), runs the shop, manages customers and still takes time to look at your car personally. He knows Honda inside and out; will take the time to answer any question you have; will give his opinion if asked; will gladly refer another mechanic for non-Honda makes; gives FREE pre- purchase inspections; and let's three 2-pound Yorkshire Terriers sleep under his desk. Hey, what else can I say. Oh, and his everyday price for an oil change is about $20.

Hands down the best damned car shop anywhere. I only wished that they worked on more than Honda/Accura makes while I had my 4Runner. Mechanics are top notch. I can't imagine anyone more ethical than the owner/manager, Earl. He has always taken care of my wife's car, her family's cars, and now mine. Our decision for a new (used) car went straight to Honda makes solely because we knew we had a mechanic we could trust to take care of us. Earl gave us several inspections of used cars while we were looking, and the first one we brought him that had a clean bill of health was the one we bought. He has saved us from several hundreds of dollars in unnecessary repairs as well as saved us from buying a car that had been in some kind of wreck or other significant damage that even the dealer didn't catch (it was honda certified used and no wrecks listed on carfax, but Earl found it and the dealer agreed once pointed out). When presented with a list of needed repairs, he always accompanies it with notes as to which repairs are needed now and which can wait a bit. It makes budgeting issues sooo much easier not having a tech pulling on your arm saying you've got to get ALL this stuff done NOW. We've been so pleased with his service and rates that even though we live in Kansas City, we still take our cars back home to Tulsa for their regular service work while we visit with family. I only wish I couuld find a place I trusted this much up where we live now.

I have used 4 Star on my Hondas and Acuras for over 15 years. I have also used them for my kid's cars and recommended other Honda/Acura owners to go there who have become as loyal to them as myself. I have used them to check out cars for my kids before purchase. In my 60+ years I have never found an auto shop with such integrity and honesty. They never recommend work on a car until it absolutely needs to be done and they usually tell you in advance if they see it coming. When I started buying new Acuras I had the dealer work on them a couple of times. A salesman there told me to take it to Four Star and I've saved thousands of dollars on all the cars (including my kid's) that I've taken there. They are absolutely the best in the business.

This is a great shop. I am always confident that they will do a good job, at a reasonable price and no "up- selling". I recommend them to anyone who has a Honda.
