Mark has been in the business of repairing VWs for at least 10 - 15 years. I have dealt with him for about ten, and he has continued to keep me and my 1986 VW Golf going, and going. I hope to see 200,000 miles from it. (It currently has about 175,000 miles, it runs great!) I have owned it since it was new. It's probably the best car I ever had. He also sells good used vehicles, (mostly VWs). I hope to buy a newer Jetta from him in the next year or so. Thanks for your Radio Show, I try and listen to it every Saturday on WGTE in Toledo. P.S. You guys are NUTS! Jeff Roth

Mark replaced a broken vacuum hose after diagnostic on his computer showed a vacuum leak. Charge = $5.00 I gave him a $20. Has done computer diagnostics twice with no charge.

Mark Harrington is the owner and he serviced my Volkswagen New Beetle from 1999 until Nov of 09. Thanks to him I put 10 years and 264,000 miles on the car! The engine still runs fine but it needed a repair I could not afford, a heater core replacement. If that were repaired, I am sure he could have kept me on the road beyond 300,000 miles! He only does VWs and has been in business 30 years. He is kindly, intelligent and very reasonably priced as compared to dealerships. Honestly, all the claims by callers on your show about problems with New Beetles did not resonate with me. It always started on cold winter mornings (unless I left the interior light or headlights on overnight). I believe regular maintenance was the key. If you are anywhere near northwest Ohio, it's worth the trip to see him with any VW troubles.

Great service. Amazing price. I have purchased three VW from Little German Village, and have had Mark service all of them. Honest and very respectable. I have stopped in several times and have called from locations when traveling, and he has taken the time to help me/advise me on what to do. I have always felt he is very honest with what needs to be repaired and what can wait for 3 months or 6 months. Great business.

I have been going to Mark and Little German Village for 28 years. I have purchased four vehicles from him. Mark is awesome! He is a great mechanic! He takes the time to let you know what is wrong with your vehicle and he also lets you know if something can wait to be repaired. In other words-he does not repair or replace something just to make a buck. I travel 40 + miles to have Mark service my VW. It's worth the drive.
