I have an old VW rabbit diesel. It was slated for the junk heap when I took the car to Andy. He was the first mechanic that ever counciled me to get rid of the damned thing instead of taking me to the cleaners dicking around with a LOST CAUSE. I told him that I was not making enough money to afford a new car and the demon I have is better than the junk car of someone elses' that I don't know. Needless to say he fixed the car. And, he did it so well that not only am I commuting to Canton every day (round trip=140miles) but I have succeeded in acquiring two speeding tickets! This car needed a stifdf tail wind to even go 45 before- they clocked me at 75?! Now, the cop could be full of dog doo doo- but I have noticed that I can actually pass cars on the highway. And I still get 44mpg...Andy's a saint.

Andy's shop was recommended to me when I moved to the area by a coworker who also drives a Volkswagen. He raved about the good work he does and how extremely neat & clean the shop is. When I needed work done and didn't get satisfaction from the chain repair shops, I took the car to Andy. He pretty much knows everything about VW's, and provides thorough and honest explanations about the problems. A little pricey, but worth it compared to taking it to a dealership. He will, however, suggest taking it to the dealership if the problem is too extensive from him to address.
