Car broke down near their shop, but far from home. I phoned
them for help. They recommended a very good tow service,
then fixed the car the next day at a reasonable cost. I
don't know them well, but I sense an honest & fair business.

I took a Higlander in for a pre-purchase inspectiona and
was able to get much needed information to help me make a
final decision on the purchase. I had found that the car
had been in an accident and repaired well and also had
missed the 90,000 mile service that runs close to $1000.
The dealership chose not to negotiate based on the findings
& as a result, I chose not to recommend the dealership but
am happy to recommend Gregory Auto.

When I first discovered Gregory Auto Service I thought I
must have been dreaming. Fair price very honest
unbelievable! Having been taken advantage of and
downright cheated by dealership service departments. I
could not believe my good fortune to have found this
place tucked away on a country road. They are almost
good enough to hope they outlive me. I was dealing
with a dying engine at inconvenient times. They found a
loose wire on the oxygen sensor. They re-connected
the wire and I was on my way.

I've used the Gregory family for more than 20 years. They
are honest, honest, honest and excellent mechanics. They
have worked on Volvos (a specialty), a Miata, a VW, a
Toyota. If you don't need work, they will tell you and give
you the keys back--no charge. When you do need work, they
get it right and the price is fair--especially considering
how they take care of you and your care like you are
family. When they checked a used car for me, they said they
want to be sure I get a good car and they have only good
cars to work on. They are in an out-of-the-way spot, so get
good directions. But, it can't get better.

These folks are really the best. Have used them for service on multiple vehicles, as well as for pre inspection for purchasing vehicles. I live in Michigan (family in Cincinnati area) and they are so good that I would try to coordinate family visits with routine auto maintenance so I could take my car to them. They have serviced Mercedes, Honda, Volvo, Infiniti, Mazda, VW, Dodge, and Lexis for our family over the years. They will tell you if nothing needs to be done. Great at keeping older cars running safely and reliably without dumping money into unnecessary repairs. HONEST. REASONABLY PRICED. Wish I had someone like them here in MI!
