Chapin's Auto is the first mechanic me and my family has really felt completely comfortable with. He explains the problem and gives an excellennt price explanation. He does all the work with the help of just one assistant, and still manages to complete the work in a timely fashion. However, the one thing that really stands out is his willingness to help us out on short notice. He'll squeeze you into his schedule if it is an emergency and takes time to take a quick look at your car if you feel something is wrong. He also gives great advice on purchasing used vehicles.

Andy Chapin is one of the most honest and hard working mechanics I've ever met. His hours are kind of early for my schedule but often when I drop off my car and keys at 10pm, he will call me at 7:30 the next morning and say that the car is fixed and ready to go. His prices are most fair and he trusts his customers. My son and I would recommend his shop to anyone especially those with foreign car

Not much - just that Andy (Chapin) is a good guy - he doesn't make a repair unless it is absolutely needed. He has also, on three occasions, made minor repairs or looked over a problem (and solved it) the day I called, and for no charge.

highly recommended! andy was recommended to me by a
friend and i strongly agree. andy is very honest and very
competent. he also on occasion makes minor repairs, free-
of-charge, which probably don't cost much, but demonstrate
the pride he takes in his work; most other mechanics would
not put in the extra effort or time.

Andy was recommended to me about 10 years ago as one who
really knows Japanese cars (which I had/have). Andy will
always tell you if you really need that repair. He has
done work for free if it was "just a little something".
He always gets the work done when promised and if he can
not do a certain repair, he sends you to someone that
can. He takes the time to explain the repair before he
does it. He trusts his customers and his customers trust
him.

Andy is extremely honest and skilled!! Everyone I have
recommended him to has had great experience and only take
their cars to him. He has saved me many hundreds of
dollars in the last few years. His costs are a lot less
than the dealer and many other shops and his **experise
and experience** is much better than the dealer for Honda,
Toyota and Fiat. He works on other makes as well. If you
are on a tight budget--he will tell you what is needed vs
what can be put off.

I took my pathfinder to Andy many times until I had to
move out of town. I was spoiled as Andy is very
competitent and completed work in a timely manner. Andy
didn't replace anything until it absolutely needed it and
was very fair priced.
The hardest part of my move was loosing Andy!
