Great place to take your Saab, which is all they work on. If the car is old and has a lot of miles, they have a yard full of parts cars and can put on a used part to save you a lot of money. They rebuilt my transmission, and although it took a while, it continued working flawlessly for another 50,000 miles (after which I no longer cared because I was rear- ended at 40 mph and pushed into the OH State Trooper in front of me, totalling the car at both ends). If I still had my Saab, I would still be going there.

One Stop Saab provides the best Saab service I have ever encountered. Don truthfully explains what needs to be done. They really work on the cars at One Stop Saab, not just replace parts. If you are use to fancy Saab dealerships and prefer plush waiting rooms to great work and reasonable prices - One Stop Saab is not the place for you.

For Saab owners, 1 Stop is clearly the best car repair
resource in Central OH. Don runs a good shop in a
gentrifying area of downtown Columbus. He has consistently
been spot on honest with me in my multiple dealings with
him. They do know Saabs, even the pre-GM 'real' Saabs -
like mine! It is a bit of a pain to get to the shop, but
whatever the hassle, it is more than made up by getting the
car fixed right the first time for 1/3 to 1/2 less than the
dealerships charge. Real life example: right after my 65K
tune-up, I had an issue with my wife's Saab's flywheel
bearing giving up the ghost. It overheated thus melting the
plastic portion of the fly wheel (blast those Saab, errr
Opel engineers for cutting corners). Don got it fixed in a
couple of hours and also noted that the 'mechanics' at the
dealership had failed to identify that a section of my tail
pipe had rusted through. He showed me the part to validate
his finding. Anways, he fixed that as well, using non-new
brackets from a wrecked car that saved me an additional
stack of greenbacks.

I was out of town and my alternator stopped charging. I
looked around and found these guys and my gut feeling was
this would be a good place and it was. Not knowing any shops
in the area, I could easily have been ripped off but they
gave a good diagnosis and didn't over charge. I'd have no
problem suggesting them to others.

I'm one of Don's "old timer" customers. I can't buy another make of car, because
my trust in him is so complete!!!
