Larry Auel, the proprietor, frequently goes above and beyond our expectations. On one occasion our car was locked in park approximately half a mile from his shop. He does not offer towing but came out personally and was able to release the car, the only fix that was necessary. He did not charge us anything. Right now we have a car suffering from the infamous Ford head gasket problem and that is not under the official extended warranty. Larry does not do that particular repair but is offering us advice and encouragement in seeking recompense from Ford, as well as offering to provide any verification that Ford may want to document the care the car has received. There is, of course, no charge for any of this either. On the more routine repairs, we usually consult my brother- in-law (a former mechanic) and brother to see if what we're being told is required for repairs sounds reasonable. They have yet to find any fault in the many years we have been using Mr. Auel's services. I recommend him without any hesitation whatsoever.

I have used Larry for car repairs for years. I was sent to
him by my father, who has also used him for years prior to
that. I can not say enough good things about Larry. When
i first started going to him, I was in college. More than
once I had a problem with my car and droppped it off late
at night, the next day he would call when he arrived and
ask when I needed it back for school. If he could get the
needed parts, I had it back in plenty of time. He also is
a strong advocate for his customers, he offers advise
concerning repairs that he can not make, most often due to
technology of new cars that a small mechanic can't aford to
keep in his shop to diagnose. Lastly, he recognizes his
customers, and is willing to take a minute to test out a
potential buy for you...he has never steered me wrong.
