I was very pleased with their service - both the quality of their work and their
friendly, honest attitude.

We started using Auto 4N when a Toyota dealer couldn't
correctly fix the front brakes on our '92 Previa. They have
done very well with our high-mileage (187,000 and 176,000
for the '94 Corolla) vehicles. They are on the #4 bus route
which makes it easy to get downtown to work after dropping
off the car. I responded with a "3" to the timely manner
question because our repairs sometimes take several days to
complete and we don't rush them. They're good about alerting
us to upcoming problems so we can deal with them ahead of
time. These two vehicles have never been towed due to a
breakdown. Despite the name, they also work on domestic
brands as well. We're very happy with them and can recommend
them to others.

So I live in Chicago, and just ended up at this shop last
year (based on a recommendation, because I had car trouble
while on a trip to Cincinnati. They were absolutely
fabulous - responsive, informative, and respectful. I'm
feeling the need to write a glowing review now, because I'm
back in Chicago with a different problem on my car, and my
experiences here have been dreadful. I'm sure I just need
to keep trying until I find a good mechanic, but I'm tempted
to drive back to Cincinnati just so these guys can work on
my car again!

These guys are great! Low-key, honest, and simply nice. Both Chris and Mike were always making the effort to keep me up-to-date on the repair on my car. As the car needed a new (used) transmission, Mike hunted around for the best one. I was impressed when he let me know that the first used transimission they installed wasn't working 100%; he told me that he would get the best one available. I really appreciate the personal attention and honesty. Hey, I even got a free t-shirt after the work was done...Thanks!
