I have takn my car & truck to ther location for three years. They advertised that they have same day service, no appointment needed, competitive prices & shuttle available. The same day service was important to me and they live by what they advertise. Good people, good work & honest. Chris Falconer

First time user (based on your recommendation). I found Marty and his staff to be very professional and courteous. They explained everything to me and gave me a fair estimate. (Less than the Chevy dealer). Work was done very well and quicker than I expected. They also took me home and picked me up. I would recommend them to a friend or relative.

The guys that own the shop are fun guys to talk to and are very up front with everything they do. I found them 5 years ago and after many years experiencing work at car dealerships and the frustration with them not getting the work done and having to almost always take the vehicle back it is a joy to take a car Hills and Dales Auto Care. In fact I took my new 2006 RAV 4 back to the Toyota garage once for routine service and will never go back there again, except for warranty work. I just purchased a 2009 Camry XLE for my wife and it will not go to the Toyota garage unless it is warranty work. These guys are great.

Marty and his partner are nice to deal with. They have always been up front with our cars. We (my wife and I) use them regularly for routine maintenance, oil changes, etc. They willingly will admit a mistake and take care of it at no charge. They treat women with respect and honesty. Compared to the Toyota garage, their prices are more than fair. You can drive in without an appointment for routine maintenance or for a check on a problem. They have a loaner or will take you home and pick you up if the loaner is out. I've been using them for about 10 years. They have taken car of my Fords, Buicks and now my Toyotas. Their mechanics are top notch in my book.

I took my 2000 Ford Focus to these people because the air conditioner was not cooling properly. They told me that the evaporator was leaking refrigerant and that the entire dash had to be removed to remove and replace. The repair was estimated at $1500.00. I wanted a second opinion so I took it to another garage who friends told me was very reputable. They told me the evaporator was DEFINITELY not leaking, but, in fact, it was the compressor. Total cost to fix $500.00. Being a person who wears suspenders and a belt, I took the car to a third place and paid them the $35.00 to diagnose the cooling system leak. Result --- DEFINITELY the compressor and the evaporator showed ABSOLUTELY NO sign of leakage of refrigerant. Cost to repair $468.00. Hillsdale did NOT use an electronic "sniffer" to detect the leak, but rather relied on dye injected into the air conditioner system and a UV light. They were saying that since they could not see any dye, and the evaporator was inside of the dash, the leak had to be in the evaporator. Bad diagnostic technique or maybe (no proof just a possibility) they knew the compressor was the culprit and they were going to replace it, charge me for replacing the evaporator, and come out a big chunk of money to the good. The previous statement is NOT an accusation but a possible scenario.
