I had the belts and hoses replaced on my 1985 Crown Vic station wagon. About six months later I had a coolant leak. When I picked up the car, Bill told me that there was no charge. A hose they had replaced had ruptured. He told me they are supposed to last longer than that. I had forgotten about having the hoses replaced. He could have charged me easily.

I would recommend this shop to anyone. By FAR, the best mechanic I have ever dealt with. After having Goodyear on Fields Ertel charge me over $300 for a problem they didn't fix, but thought they did, Bill's actually found the problem (distributor) and fixed it. I don't think Goodyear even tried. Bill's will always tell you exactly what they're doing, and never lies, ever.

I've taken both my cars (Ford & Toyota) to Bill's and always been pleased. When they've been unable to isolate a problem, they've made sure everything is still safe to run and not charged us anything. But I shouldn't make it sound like they routinely can't find the problem. I had a problem I took the car to three other mechanics for (including dealer shops), none of whom could properly isolate the problem. Bill's got it right on the first time and for a small fraction of the price that other shops wanted just for further investigation.
