Tommy will fit you in if at all possible, he's done work for me after hours on Saturday and SUNDAY. Always explains and helps me to understand how to do a job, or how to do it yourself if you get into a bind. I've often asked if the bill was big enough to cover the work done. Fastest inspections I've ever seen. Tommy is always there.

They have always done a great job on our vehicles. When my husband's last car was nearing the end of its lifetime, they did everything possible to keep it on the road. They suggested repairs that would help and alternatives to things that needed to be repaired but weren't worth the cost considering the age/mileage on the car. They have referred us to other places that can do certain repairs either cheaper and/or faster. Most mechanics will not do that. Have seen them lend out tools to motorists who were having difficulty with their vehicles and/or make minor repairs without cost.

I was camping with my 5th wheel RV in town and had a problem with my F350. I took it to Tom, based on these reviews and found him to be accommodating and a good diagnostician. He was heavily booked, but fit me in between jobs the following day to take a look at the left front wheel/tire due to a rumbling sound. After a test drive he concluded it was probably the tire, so he swapped it with the spare and the problem disappeared. FIXED for a small fee. Tom is very congenial and has over 70 years of experience (since age 5) working in the garage that his father owned. I would not hesitate to use him again and highly recommend Smalley's Garage.
