I answered the question to responding well when they screw up as agree strongly even though I have no personal experience with that question. They have not screwed up.

These guys are GREAT! The work is well done, clearly explained, and fairly priced. My husband has been gouged at other shops for jobs that AutoTech does much cheaper and better. How many repair shops will actually recommend you take your car to another shop that is the expert at your particular problem? They've done this more than once for me to save me time and money. After 15 years, my only complaint is that they're not open on Saturday.

It's been a pleasure dealing with Autotech. They haven't screwed anything up, and, the first time I went to them, fixed a problem that had eluded various other shops.

Needed to have a/c system checked due to extreme temperatures here in CNY. After about an hour's diagnosis, they explained the possible problem(s) and referred me to a shop that specialized in a/c systems. Although I expected to pay for the time they took, they said "no charge" since they did not repair the item. I would recommend them without hesitation and will be taking my business to them when called for.

If one of their bays were a doctor's office, I'd go to them for that too! I've been a customer for 20 years and trust them to always do their best. They are so amazing and here is just one example: I used to run a gallery on the same street. Some college students of mine came to a Friday night opening but the driver somehow scratched the transmission pan and her car was leaking transmission fluid. I tried to calm her by showing her the garage nearby and...lights were still on! We walked over, the owner was there and asked her to bring the car in. Since the car was new, the parts to fix it were not in yet. So another mechanic's son welded it back together and sent her on her way. To top it off, she did not have any money on her so they mailed her a bill. All on a Friday night at 9 pm! See why I love these guys?!

I have been driving for over fifty years and seen many mechanics, but Ed and his crew are the best I have ever had. They are honest and will tell you when you DON'T need work done. They are knowledgeable and competent mechanics who get the job done and make sure it is done right. Their prices are very fair, and they do small things (check out a used car) for free for loyal customers. Finally, they are really really nice guys.
