These guys are fantastic. I have been taking my car, a 1997 Honda Civic hatchback (standard transmission) to their shop since I bought it five years ago. They always explain everything very clearly and never recommend work that's not necessary. They're very honest about work that doesn't need to be done or can be put off. Their prices are very reasonable. When I drop my car off there I always feel confident that they will figure out what's wrong and fix it without a problem. The two guys who run the shop, Dean and Danny, are brothers and look EXACTLY alike (but they're not twins). They are great guys. If you live near Poughkeepsie, I highly recommend this shop.

I've been going to Paul's for 15+ years. During that time they have worked on the following cars for us - Nissan Sentra, Honda Civic, Jeep Grand Cherokee and BMW Z3. They have been able to deal with issues on every car. Once after a car repair all the radiator fluid leaked out of the car at home and Dean insisted on driving out to our house (8 miles away) to check is out. (Turned out not to be there fault-just a coincidence). They are really honest with their customers. They let you know what you need to do and what you can put off. If you spend anytime in their waiting room you can see that they have many long term customers (generational even - as their Dad started the shop and still is there from time to time) and that they really value long term relationships. I can't recommend them more highly. If all mechanics were like them, mechanics wouldn't have a bad name.

These guys do good work. They are fast, friendly and accommodating. I feel that they're a little expensive and that they recommend work that could be postponed. But in general, I have been happy.

These guys are great. They know their stuff, honest as can be, and deliver what they say, the way they say they will, at the cost they quote. I was in a place where they could have EASILY taken advantage of me, yet they told me what my problem was(and were definitive), what it would cost and when it would be done. They delivered perfectly, their price was reasonable, especially for the level of effort required. These people know who their customers are, what they want need and when they need it. They have integrity, in my mind that speaks how they do business. These are the type of people who I will go back to time and time again
