My family has been going to this business for two generations of us and them. You can not find a more honest bunch.

Bubie's Garage is an oasis of salvation in a desert of auto repair rip-off ! ! ! They have saved my (auto) life so many times in 40 years, I couldn't begin to count them . . . For a small garage they manage to somehow keep up with modern current technology / diagnostics / tools etc. . . I highly recommend. . . .

John is an honest hardworking mechanic. Brought my wife's van in because it wouldn't start. It ended up being snow that melted then had leaked and frozen so the alternator couldn't turn. He took the belt off, spent some time diagnosing and refused to charge me. Find a mechanic that would do that!!

John Bubie is the mechanic that you dream of finding. To me, the most important thing is honesty. You never have to worry about that with John. More than once I have taken a car to him thinking there was something seriously wrong (expensive!) only to have John figure out that it's a simple (inexpensive!) fix. I say "a car" 'cause I've been going to Bubie's Garage for a couple of decades and several cars. Everything from Chevys, Fords, Mercs, Volvos, Chryslers, Buicks, Toyotas (OK, I take my wife's cars there, too). He fixes 'em all. One thing I really have a lot of respect for is if there is something that he doesn't work on (e.g. a/c compressor), and there's not much that he won't take on, he'll be honest and tell you that he won't do that and he'll refer you to an equally competent shop that will work on that particular item. I love this guy!
