Earl, the service manager, takes personal concern. I was out
of town so Earl and his wife personally delivered my wife's
car to our home, so my wife would have the car to use after
they fixed it. They are very honest.
They have serviced my five cars over the last 4 years
I have my oil and tires serviced at Kost, but when serious
engine work was needed for my volvo, the guys at Kost
recommended Nick's garage, since they had the latest
instruments (other than a dealer).

My family has been using Nick's services for almost 20 years, and I've yet to see them mess anything up! All the mechanics, including Nick himself, have listened to our funny noises, and our lists of weird symptoms (and we've had some doozies!) then done their best to rectify the problems. Last month I needed my car inspected and, of course, left it till the last day of the month! None of the big chains would even TALK to me, but Earl at Nicks got me in for the next day, and got me back in my car in record time, even with the repair I needed. I'm married to a former certified mechanic, tow-truck driver, state vehicle inspector- and these guys are the only ones HE trusts!

Great place to go. I have been going to this place as long
as I've had a car and they've taken care of every problem
I've ever had. They even fixed the latch on the tailgate
on my Jeep for 70 bucks when the bodyshop that my
insurance company recommended wanted 800 just to fix the
cosmetic damage and not even the latch. Going to miss this
place when I move.

We have been using them for almost 30 years now. Never
have had a problem and have recommended them to several of
our friends. They are honest and dependable. Earl will
always call first to advise of any unexpected situation
which they may find in the course of doing the requested
work. Everyone should have a mechanic like Nick's Garage!

I have had a long relationship with this shop over the
years, with several different vehicles and prefer their work
over closer repair shops.
Have only been unhappily surprised once for the work/price
but I got over it... Many other occasions it was lower than
expected and/or the problem was pretty far removed from what
I anticipated. (IE: thought a sensor/valve in the manifold
was bad (a $600.00+ repair)and it turned out to be a damaged
vacuum hose!
All in all, a good place for repair work!

These guys are GREAT mechanics. They have fixed three
different problems over the last five years in a timely
manner. One of the front wheels was making a noise,
preparatory to falling off, and they found the problem. My
brakes were on their way out, but couldn't get past the
guys at Nick's. Any hard turn was causing a loud, scary
noise, but not anymore.
Today, I called this morning about the slow leak in my
driver's side front tire. They didn't have time, but said
that I could come and wait for it. When I got there, I
mentioned to Nick (Earl was out for some kind of an
appointment) that I was also having intermittent problems
with the fan on my heater/ac. We both thought that it was
probably an electrical short. BAD NEWS.
GOOD NEWS. They found a little corroded piece of wire and
replaced it!
Their prices are fair and their skills are extraordinary.
