This shop is owned by an ace VW mechanic, Jack Shapiro, who has trained in Germany. He is an absolute perfectionist and takes pride in all the work he does. He is personable and explains whatever you need to know about. He personally stands behind his work. With his partner Lori in the office you know you are in good and caring hands. They will do what they must to make things work for you. The added benefit is that he also sells high quality late model VW's and Audis, with his own warranty. He also sells aftermarket performance parts. Jack & Lori are a pleasure to deal with, and after 5 years of being a customer I don't hesitate to recomend them to fellow VW (And Audi & Porsche) owners. I bought my current 2000 Passat wagon from Jack last year, and I'm still as happy as ever.

Jack Shapiro is an incredibly talented master technician who doesn't just sweat the details - he revels in them, and he takes even more pleasure in sharing those details with you, so that you are as knowledgeable about your finely-engineered automobile as you can be. From start to finish, Jack performs his work so as to honor the original design and specification of your car. Both he and Lori are affable and knowledgeable German Auto enthusiasts who are truly a pleasure to do business with, and who are totally committed to your satisfaction. Highly recommended!

Likewise. I fully agree with the above reviews. Once again Jack and Laurie diagnosed my problems and worked their magic on the aging 8+ year old Passat. They gave it new life with a pair of new catalytic converters (reduced aftermarket prices) , a timing belt and tensioner, expansion tank etc. With meticulous precision Jack found and fixed a vacuum leak, an inoperable fan viscous, and several potential problems that I would have otherwise neglected. Jack explained everything to me. And he performed the needed routine maintenance. Yup, it is now a finely tuned machine and a pleasure to drive, a reflection of their workmanship and integrity!

Jack Shapiro, honest mechanic. He and partner, Lori, have always done a super job on my 2000 VW, whether it's routine maintenance or high tech troubleshooting. A team I can trust.

I've just had the glory of driving my car home after an overhaul here. Yes, another letter of appreciation! My clutch had failed, and, with just 3 days notice, Jack and Lori scheduled me in. With genuine VW parts, technical know-how including an in- house polishing of my aging flywheel I was back on the road empowered with a new clutch and confidence. Saved again, and with $ savings. Jack is an afficionado and his meticulous workmanship reflects care! Nothing is overlooked from the pollen filter to a much needed differential oil change - everything is explained with an honest rundown and advice. Recommended.

I stopped at their shop this afternoon today 7/30/2013 to make a appointment for my daughters 2008 Jetta. I was greeted by a cranky Mr. Shapiro who was almost rude and snotty. I told him I was there to make a appointment for my daughters car. I was informed that the gate was half open and not to be used . I was instructed to log onto their website to make a appointment to get a appointment. How ridiculous ? I am standing face to face with Mr. Shapiro and basically was told to get off the property. And you expect me to spend my money here ? I wouldn't let Mr. Shapiro work on my lawnmower with his poor attitude, In fact I will have my daughter by a American car after this experience. Mr. Shapiro must do well with his online Ebay sales as his personal skills need to be sent back to the Father Land for recalibration. What a arrogant disgusting person.
