These guys are tops. My wife knows almost nothing about cars, and they treat her absolutely straight. They fix weird obscure stuff on short notice, put in a little extra time on a Friday night to get us away for a holiday weekend (!!), explain what they do, make few mistakes and fix the few they do make.

I went to these guys after seeing them posted on this site. they are really great to work with! As a woman who knows very little about cars, I appreciate that they always explain what they are doing before they actually do it and let me know how much it will cost first. They also have you fill out a form describing what's wrong with your car, which makes me feel more secure -- I remember everything I needed to tell them while filling out the form and they have it to refer to when they actually look at my car. While shopping for my (1st!) car, I brought a couple by for them to look at (a service that they did not charge me for). They were very honest and helped to steer me away from making a costly mistake with a Ford Escort (well, it was cheap). They are only open from 8-5, but they'll stay open until around 6 or so, for you to get the car. They're located very close to the No. 7, E, F trains. I highly recommend them!
