Very reliable shop owned and operated by a meticulous mechanic who could be Click and Clack's long-lost brother (but I think he's from Brooklyn, not Boston). Excellent work at fair prices. Nice, clean shop. Bring coffee!

Nice, a hint sarcastic, guy and does a fabulous job. Bringing coffee is always a good idea (not after 4:00 pm). Great story teller.

I'll second the guy who said he could be Click & Clack's long lost brother. Great mechanic, extremely knowledgeable, gives it to you straight, does great work, totally fair prices, lets you know when a repair isn't necessary, goes out of his way to take care of his customers.

Rick is a great mechanic and funny guy. It's just him, so you're always talking to the person who's working on your car. He'll gladly show you the car while on the lift to explain it all. He fixed a long standing issue with my Civic that another fine shop never figured out. He's top shelf - looks to save you money, not take your money.

We stopped using Rick after he took days to repair our very nice car for a minor thing. When we saw him tooling around town in our car in the time he was "still working on it," that pretty much sealed the deal. On our other car, he 'repaired' the electrical outlet but it in fact never worked.

Whoa! I just read the review from "pgiltner" (or something like that). Apparently he/she never heard of something called a road test, which any good mechanic takes a car on before turning it back over to the customer. I've taken my car to this shop for years, and the guy who runs it doesn't strike me as the type who would just drive someone's car around for kicks.

Great work at a fair price with no B.S. There are other shops closer to me, but I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car. As for the person below who complained about the mechanic driving their car around the neighborhood, grow up! I'd much rather a mechanic discover my brakes aren't working quite right than me finding out in the middle of an intersection. Another thing... Rich understands that a lot of us don't have a ton of money to spend on our cars. He'll tell you what repairs are absolutely necessary vs. what could use some work, but can wait awhile. I really appreciate that.
