My girlfriend had recommended Patterson's to me becasue of their honest dealings with her with her various cars. When the local dealership shop had tried to talk me into purchasing a new engine, I took the car to Patterson's for a second opinion. They replaced what was actually broken, and I was on my way. Needless to say, the repairs cost a fraction of the price of a new engine, and were just as effective. Moreover, Dave took the time to walk me around my car, and show me exactly what was wrong. He gave me an accurate estimate for parts and labor which he never strayed from. Patterson's rates are a bit high, but not unfairly so considering the quality of service and work they provide.

When I asked about having my Toyota repaired, this was the only place that anyone mentioned (4/4). I will say the good part first, just in case the message gets cut off because it's too long. (The bad part has to do with Bill Cooke Toyota, which I would NOT recommend.) Dave (Patterson) had absolutely the nicest and most sensible approach to my car problems-- example-- oil leak, well, lets start by cleaning the engine and replacing the seals at the top-- I don't think you need a new oil pan (and numerous other BC $$), but if the new seals don't fix the problem we'll go from there. There are lots more details on many problems, but bottom line, I am very happy with the outcome, Dave and the rest such nice people, polite, and very funny. I'm XX, BTW

Several generations of these folks have been working on my cars since 1974. They are always courteous and considerate. They have on several occasions gone to extra trouble to save me money, e.g., tracking warranties, looking for used or alternative parts. They check the car thoroughly enough to anticipate problems. It's such a blessing to live within walking distance of a mechanic I fully trust. Strongly recommended.

I have been taking my cars to Dave Patterson for over fifteen years. He and his staff are friendly, helpful and always competent. He provides "heads-ups" on possible work that may be needed, and keeps track of routine and unusual maintenance.

Dave Patterson worked on my Dodge for 6 years - he and his employees are exceedingly friendly, knowledgable, and HONEST. There were a couple times I probably could have gotten ripped off and they never did that. They went the extra mile a few times when I need something fixed really quickly. I highly recommend them!
