Larry and Tony at KOST Tire and muffler are terrific. They
are very honest about what needs to be done, how much it
will cost, if it can wait six months or needs to be done
right away. I have recommended them to family and friends.
It's good to know honest, hardworking mechanics are out
there!

These are good people. I drive over 100 miles daily & have
been taking my cars there for years. My wife also takes
her Nissan there & also thinks highly of them & we drive
past about 20 dealerships & repair shops to go there. Not
a fancy place, the customer waiting area is beat-up & the
stuff in the vending machines dates from the Truman
administration, but who cares, the guys are honest &
pleasant.

Tony runs a tight operation at Kost Tire in Geneva. I
originally went to him for a brake job, and he told me it
wasn't necessary. GREAT! and his honesty and integrity has
continued through other repairs. I've been going there for
over 3 years and will continue. This is a shop you can
trust and I really appreciate it!

While I had no problems and felt comfortable with their service for a long time. I encountered a problem which they did not trouble shoot properly. They failed to recheck their own work which was not done properly and kept telling me that they couldn't find why my check engine light was on. I went back to them multiple times. Finally a trip to the dealership found the problem - spark plugs were not properly tightened. The repair cost me over $800. The dealership found the problem within 30 minutes, did the work and set me on my way. I haven't had problems since then. Kost (now Mr. Tire) gave me store credit which I will use on oil changes and tires but no more major mechanical repairs at Kost for me.
