Vito is always friendly and helpful. He's worked on several cars I've had and I've recommended him to several friends and he has treated them well. It's a fairly small shop so Vito is always working on the cars or assisting his assistant mechanics so I don't feel, like I felt at some places, that some unknown or unqualified guy will be tinkering with my precious car. He kept my last '82 Toyota running for so long, I eventually had to beat it with a stick so I would have an excuse to buy a new car, it just wouldn't die. (The truth was it was going to need new disk rotors and some body work to get through the next inspection, so after discussing with Vito I decided to donate it to a student friend). It's not so easy to find an honest mechanic in Brooklyn, I could tell you some horror stories. But I highly recommend Vito.

I went to Vito today for the first time looking for someone to inspect a potential car before i purchased it. He gave me a rather good price for a full inspection, told me his personal opinion of the car in private away from the owner, gave me a quote of all repairs needed, and even found a oil leak that the current owner did not know about even though he took it to his mechanic the previous day. overall he seems like a humble businessman and i would definitely go back.
