Have been doing business here for over 12 years. Owner Marty
is the best in the field. Totally honest and very skilled. We
keep our cars forever, and Marty works with us to keep them
safe and running well. I fully recommend this shop without
reservation.

I just got my car back from Binghamton Metro Garage. A
while back I had been to one of those chain places that
mails out coupons for cheap oil changes and "free underside
inspections". That place "recommended" work that amounted
to over $1200. I opted not to have the work done and took
my car to Marty at BMG. Since this was my first time as his
customer, he could have easily just agreed with their
recommendations, and I'd have been none the wiser. After
checking my car over, he gave the lie to about $800 worth of
their "recommendations" and the work that did need done he
did at about half their estimated cost. He was prompt,
courteous, and professional with his service. Having just
got the car back and only driven it home, I can only assume
that the work he did was done well, but I've got a good
feeling about it.

We moved to the area in 2008, and got Marty's name from a
co-worker. I knew I had a winner when I asked him to do the
manufacturer's scheduled maintenance. He called me a half
hour later and said that he'd do the work if I really wanted
it done, but looked over the car and most of the work really
didn't need to be done.
Nothing serious has gone wrong with the car yet (knock
wood), but I know I have a great place to take my car when
something does go wrong.

Marty was a VERY honest mechanic. And always did a great job. Unfortunately, he retired and closed his shop in 2014.
